Eating Loneliness

Eating loneliness
Oh, how it hurts
To want and know and cry
Find one that works
Eating solitude
Deep inside my heart
Never let it be known
I'm screaming through my art
Yelling at the pastors
The teachers of the world
Yelling at the dying
And child in fetal curl
Oh my ears
They almost hear you think
I keep them finely tuned
And always on the brink
Oh my eyes
They pierce into my soul
But I keep them blinded
So nobody will know
